Sail to Nevis on a catamaran

Have you ever gone aboard a catamaran? Maybe this should be your first trial! Enjoy a day on the Caribbean ocean aboard a catamaran. You can stop to fish or snorkel as you enjoy unlimited drinks, soak up the sunshine to sweet Caribbean music and order one of their famous cocktails at Sunshine’s Bar.

Romney Manor and Caribelle Batik

Visit the Romney Manor. Samuel Jefferson (Thomas Jefferson’s great, great grandfather) and the Earle of Romney once owned this property. This 17th-century Romney Manor sugar estate is now home to Caribelle-Batik. Set in 12 acres of lush landscaped gardens at Romney Manor, artisans do live demonstrations of the batik process and sell authentic batik artwork and clothing.

Zipline through Lush Rainforests

A thrilling experience as you Zipline through the ravine and get a glimpse at Brimstone Hill while listening to the teeming sounds of the forest. This is an adventure for your entire family. Seasoned and professional zipline staff will be your guide through a total of five lines up to 1350 ft long. The breathtaking views as you soar through a tropical rainforest causes an adrenaline-fueled experience that allows you to reconnect with nature.

The scenic railway tours

You cannot afford to travel to St. Kitts without taking a ride on the old sugar train. Unlimited drinks, traditional songs and sample local sugar cakes are just a few thrills you experience in transit. The incredible way to experience St. Kitts is a ride on the old sugar train which has now metamorphosized into a charming Scenic Railway Tour. What you get is a unique perspective on the island as you join other travellers to explore abandoned sugar plantations, ride along the old sugar railways and explore abandoned churches. Experience the thrilling beauty of the island and the welcoming smiles of the locals that wave at you as you pass through villages.

Take a hike up Mount Liamuiga

The spectacular view from the peak of Mount Liamuiga is a thrill you cannot miss! It offers a rich reward for a 4+ hour guided hike. Or opt for a guided rain forest tour, which allows you to explore and spot monkeys, colourful hummingbirds and lizards. Amazingly, the rainforest at St. Kitts is growing while most rainforests on earth are disappearing. A hike up Mount Liamuiga, a dormant volcano, is a unique adventure as you trek past cloud forests, waterfalls, and the tropical rainforest.

Relax at the Beach

You can take a day off to relax and sunbathe at the beach. Famous Beaches in St. Kitts are South Friars Bay, Cockleshell Bay and South Frigate Bay. They are filled with laid-back beach bars and shacks and ample beach chairs to relax on the beach and take in the laid-back Caribbean.

Snorkelling at Dieppe Bay beach

Dieppe Bay Beach is home to a colourful array of marine life which makes for excellent snorkelling. You cannot exclude a visit to the exotic black sand of Dieppe Bay Beach. Sun-lovers adore the shiny volcanic sand. It is an excellent spot for tanning. Its clear waters are equally ideal for bathing, which are protected by the reef.

Night on the Frigate bay strip

The best way to get a full taste of the Kittitian nightlife is to visit the Frigate bay strip! Here, you meet with locals and international students as they gather at the popular beach bars on the strip for their favourite Caribbean cuisine, amazingly vibrant nightlife, island cocktails, and fresh seafood. According to the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, only fully vaccinated travellers can travel to St. Kitts by air.
