Introduction CPL T20

Warner Park is a cricket stadium, which was established in Basseterre, St. Kitts, and Nevis in 2006. Warner Park Cricket Stadium is the first of seven new stadiums that are open for the World Cup. It got its name after Sir Thomas Warner, who explored the first English colony.

Having a seating capacity of 8000, Warner Park is the only cricket ground for international and domestic matches in St Kitts and Nevis. The best thing about this cricket ground is that it is versatile. The western part of the stadium features a football stadium, which alone has a seating capacity of around 3500 people. In the Northern part, you will find three tennis courts, 3 volleyball courts, one carnival city, Harris Lane Cricket Academy, and a small-open Savannah. The carnival city located on this ground is mainly used for hosting various carnival events.

First international matches on this ground

The stadium held its first international ODI between India and West Indies in 2006, while the first T20 was played on this ground in 2009 between West Indies and Bangladesh. If we talk about the first test match played on this ground, it was between India and West Indies on 22nd June 2006.
