Arena Coliseo, inaugurated on April 2, 1943, in the Historic Center of Mexico City, is the oldest wrestling arena in Mexico and Latin America. Built by Salvador Lutteroth, founder of CMLL, it was also the first arena in the region to feature air conditioning. With a capacity of around 6,000 spectators and its iconic circular shape, it is fondly known as “The Funnel of La Lagunilla.”
The arena has hosted legendary matches, including the historic El Santo vs. Black Shadow fight in 1952, and continues to preserve the authentic spirit and folklore of Mexican wrestling. Today, it remains a vibrant and traditional venue where this iconic sport comes alive.
Guests will meet at Arena Coliseo, República de Perú 77, Centro Histórico, at 6:30 pm, where a host wearing an Epic Journey logo polo will greet you. Arriving on time is recommended to secure the best seats, as seating is unnumbered. Show tickets are included.
The 2-hour show is packed with nonstop excitement, offering great balcony views of the ring, an intimate atmosphere, and the thrill of watching masked wrestlers perform high-impact moves just meters away. It’s an unforgettable night of adrenaline and true Mexican culture.
